Creative Director - Copy (Freelance)

Experience writing for a highly regulated pharmaceutical industry, HCP and DTC experience preferred

  • Ability to grasp complex ideas quickly and synthesize accurately

  • Intimate understanding of disease state and pharma products and their offerings inside out, through brand guidelines, any related medical journals, thought leaders, and other available sources

  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with extremely knowledgeable clients

  • Solution-oriented mindset and positive outlook on work

  • Fanatical attention to detail

  • Thrive on being efficient and getting your messaging into the market quickly

  • Love seeing your work perform well, knowing your making a difference in the lives of patients

  • Collaborate well with Content Strategists, UX Designers, Visual Designers, Creative Directors and PMs

  • Advocate for, and present work, to internal stakeholders as well as clients

  • Write fresh and strategic headlines that draw readers in

  • Generate both long and short engaging, purpose-driven, on-brand copy for the web

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in English, journalism, communications or a related field preferred

  • Healthcare agency experience required

  • 7+ years experience writing for digital patient and HCP

  • Interactive and digital media fluency

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple creative projects from strategy through concept and production
